Book Haul: March 2019

I have a slightly smaller book haul this month, but don’t be but off because I will be bringing you a completely separate graphic novel haul very soon. I decided to split these two up, simply because I want to build on my Comic Corner series a bit more, so be sure to keep an eye out for it!

The Near Witch by V.E. Schwab

For those of you who don’t already know all about The Near Witch, this is a re-release of Schwab’s debut novel. Originally published in 2011 it went out of print for some time, the publishers not releasing a new printing, until now. I was lucky enough to be able to go to one of Victoria’s tour stops, and it really was everything that I thought it would be. Also, I feel like I am finally gaining the ability to speak coherently to authors. Thank god! The Near Witch is a YA fantasy novel, and includes an intro by Victoria, and a new short story.

A Gathering of Shadows (Shades of Magic #2) by V.E. Schwab- US Collector’s Edition

There was a lot of Amazon-caused confusion regarding this book. You know that I have already read it, and I love this whole trilogy with all my heart, and you may remember that I’m collecting these US Collector’s Editions as they’re released (ADSOM was released in 2018). As I live in the UK, the delivery dates were messed up, so this was on and off my TBR like a yo-yo. It did arrive way before schedule, and its gorgeous, and I can’t wait to re-read it again, because Shades of Magic is the best fantasy trilogy out there right now.

And that is all the books I bought this month. As I said before keep your eyes peeled for a second haul, because I got some amazing graphic novels this month.

What about you? What books did you buy this month? Did you go to any of Victoria’s tour stops?
